Head and Neck Surgery: Oncology 2025

The Postgraduate Programme in Head and Neck Surgery: Oncology 2025 is a one-year course designed to provide advanced training for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in the diagnosis and management of head and neck tumors. Starting in March 2025, this programme aims to enhance participants’ expertise, enabling them to deliver top-quality care to patients with head and neck cancers.

This EACMFS Postgraduate Programme is specifically designed for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residents in their senior year or for young specialists in the field.

The EACMFS Postgraduate Programme includes:

  • A comprehensive Live Online Course from March to October 2025, consisting of six modules. Each month, a 3-hour webinar will be held.
  • A one-month Clinical Observership, providing specialized experience in treating head and neck cancer.
  • A Hands-on Workshop with human anatomical specimens, scheduled for October 21-22, 2025, at the Center for Anatomy, Medical University of Vienna.

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded a Postgraduate Certificate from the EACMFS. Additionally, an application will be submitted for accreditation from UEMS EACCME® for CME credits for both the online course and the hands-on workshop.
